Setting up a Mordhau server

Join your server

The first start downloads Mordhau from Steam, so it takes a few minutes. Watch the Console tab. When it stops scrolling, your server is ready.

In the game, open Server Browser and search for your name.

The basic settings

Server NameThe name in the list.
Server PasswordEmpty for public.
Admin PasswordFor admin commands.
DEFAULT_MAPLike Grad/FL_Grad.

Map rotation

Edit Mordhau/Saved/Config/LinuxServer/Game.ini with the server stopped:

Game.ini
MapRotation=FL_Grad
MapRotation=FL_Camp

Be an admin

In the console, type adminlogin YourPassword.

Problems

Not in the browser

Search the exact name. The first start takes a few minutes.

The rotation is ignored

Stop the server before editing Game.ini.

A mod does not load

Check the mod ID on mod.io.
