Setting up a Killing Floor 2 server
Join your server
The first start downloads Killing Floor 2 from Steam, so it takes a few minutes. It is about 20 GB. Watch the Console tab. When it stops scrolling, your server is ready.
In the game, open the server browser, show all servers, and search for your name.
The basic settings
| Setting | What it does |

| Server Name | The name in the list. |
| Server Difficulty | 0 Normal to 3 Hell on Earth. |
| Map Name | The first map. |
| Admin Password | For admin commands. |
Be an admin
In the game console, type:
adminlogin YourAdminPassword
Other settings
Game length and password are in KFGame/Config/LinuxServer-KFGame.ini. Stop the server first.
Problems
Not in the browser
Show all servers and search the exact name.
Workshop maps do not download
Check the IDs in LinuxServer-KFEngine.ini.
Players kicked on a map
They may be missing a custom map.
