Setting up an Arma Reforger server
Join your server
The first start downloads Arma Reforger from Steam, so it takes a few minutes. Watch the Console tab. When it stops scrolling, your server is ready.
In the game, go to Multiplayer, then Community, and search for your name.
The basic settings
Change these on the Startup tab, then restart.

| Server Name | The name in the list. |
| Server Password | Empty for public. |
| Admin Password | For admin commands. |
| Max Players | How many can join. |
| Scenario ID | The game mode and map. |
Pick a scenario
The Console lists every scenario when the server starts. Copy one into Scenario ID, including the part in curly brackets.
Be an admin
In game chat, type:
#login YourAdminPassword
Add mods
List mods in config.json under mods, each with its ID and name. The server downloads them on start.
Problems
It starts then stops
Usually a typo in config.json or a wrong Scenario ID. Check the console.
Players are kicked for BattlEye
They need BattlEye on. Or turn it off on the Startup tab.
A mod will not download
Check the mod ID is exact.
