PulsedMC ("we," "us," or "our") provides managed Minecraft server hosting infrastructure, including server provisioning, a management panel, and related support services (collectively, the "Service").
The Service is provided on a subscription basis. You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs on your server, including the conduct of your players, the plugins and mods you install, and the content your community creates.
PulsedMC is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or in any way officially connected with Mojang Studios or Microsoft Corporation. "Minecraft" is a trademark of Mojang Studios.
You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. If you are under 18, you represent that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
By using the Service, you represent and warrant that:
- You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract
- You are not located in a country subject to U.S. government embargo or sanctions
- You are not on any government list of prohibited or restricted parties
- Your use of the Service does not violate any applicable laws or regulations
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, including your panel username and password. You must notify us immediately via Discord if you suspect any unauthorised access to your account.
You are responsible for all activity conducted through your account. We will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to keep your credentials secure.
- Do not share your panel password with anyone
- Use a strong, unique password for your panel account
- Contact us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised
Important: The Service runs on a credit balance, not a per-plan subscription. Each server you create draws down credits from your account automatically every month.
Payments are processed securely by Stripe, Inc. We do not store your payment card information on our servers. Credits can be purchased as a one-time payment or through an optional recurring credit-refill subscription; if you choose the recurring option, you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.
- Prices are displayed in USD and are exclusive of any applicable taxes
- You may be subject to sales tax, VAT, or GST depending on your location
- Each server has a monthly credit cost based on its plan tier, charged automatically from your credit balance roughly once a month
- If your balance can't cover a server's monthly charge, that server is suspended — see Termination for what happens next
- A recurring credit-refill subscription can be cancelled at any time via your account page; this stops future credit top-ups but does not by itself affect servers you already have
- We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 14 days' notice
- The free tier is limited to one server per person and may have usage restrictions
Server Spotlight is a credit-based recurring feature that promotes your server on the PulsedMC homepage and in-game server selector. When you activate a Server Spotlight promotion, 2,000 credits are deducted from your balance immediately and the promotion runs for 30 days. At the end of each 30-day period, we will automatically attempt to deduct 2,000 credits to renew. If your balance is insufficient at renewal time, your promotion will be cancelled and your server will be removed from the spotlight without notice. Credits used for Server Spotlight are non-refundable.
We do not offer refunds for credit purchases of any kind, used or unused.
If you believe you have been charged in error, or if you experience a significant service disruption caused solely by us, please contact us on Discord and we will review your case on a discretionary basis.
Credits are strictly non-refundable. When you purchase credits — whether as a one-time payment or a recurring subscription — those credits are made available to your account immediately upon payment confirmation. By completing a credit purchase, you expressly acknowledge and agree that no refund will be issued under any circumstances, including but not limited to unused credits, account termination, or change of mind.
Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute for a credit purchase is a violation of these Terms. In the event of a chargeback or refund request for credits, we reserve the right to:
- Immediately suspend or permanently terminate your account without notice
- Remove any credits associated with the disputed payment
- Report the dispute to Stripe and pursue recovery through available legal and financial channels
Exceptions may be considered at our sole discretion in cases of:
- Duplicate charges caused by a technical error on our part
- Extended outages of more than 72 consecutive hours caused solely by PulsedMC infrastructure failures
You agree not to use the Service for any purpose that is unlawful, harmful, or prohibited by these Terms. The following are expressly prohibited:
- Illegal content: Hosting, distributing, or facilitating any content that violates applicable law
- Network attacks: Conducting DDoS attacks, port scanning, or any form of network disruption against any host
- Malware & phishing: Distributing viruses, spyware, ransomware, or creating phishing pages
- Spam: Sending unsolicited bulk messages or running spam operations
- Exploitation: Attempting to exploit vulnerabilities in our infrastructure or other users' servers
- Reselling: Reselling or sublicensing the Service to third parties without our explicit permission
- Impersonation: Impersonating PulsedMC, our staff, or any other person or entity
- Minecraft guidelines: You must comply with Mojang's End User Licence Agreement and Usage Guidelines
Violations may result in immediate suspension or termination without refund and may be reported to the appropriate authorities.
You keep full ownership of any content, data, or files you upload to the Service (“Your Content”). By using the Service, you grant PulsedMC a limited, non-exclusive license to store and transmit Your Content only as needed to operate the Service.
You agree that Your Content will not:
- Infringe on any third-party intellectual property rights
- Include illegal material, including child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
- Violate anyone’s privacy or data protection rights
Unless your plan specifically includes a backup feature, we are not responsible for backing up Your Content. You are strongly encouraged to keep your own backups.
The Service, including all software, designs, trademarks, and content provided by PulsedMC, is owned by or licenced to PulsedMC and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of our Service without our prior written consent.
Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you beyond the limited right to use the Service as described herein.
We aim to provide a reliable service but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We reserve the right to:
- Perform scheduled maintenance with reasonable advance notice
- Carry out emergency maintenance without prior notice when necessary
- Modify or discontinue features of the Service with reasonable notice
In the event of a significant planned outage, we will endeavour to notify you in advance via our Discord server or email.
By you: You may delete a server at any time from your account page. Deletion is immediate and permanent — the server and its data are removed right away, they are not held for a grace period.
For nonpayment: If your credit balance can't cover a server's monthly charge, that server is automatically suspended and you'll be notified by email. You have 7 days from the date of suspension to top up your credits — the server will automatically un-suspend the next time billing runs once your balance can cover it. If it is still suspended after 7 days, the server and all of its data will be permanently deleted without further notice.
By us: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately and without notice if we determine, in our sole discretion, that you have violated these Terms or that your actions pose a risk to the Service or other users. In cases of serious violation (e.g. illegal activity, DDoS attacks), no refund will be issued.
Data retention: Once a server is deleted — whether by you, automatically after the nonpayment grace period, or by us for a Terms violation — its data is not recoverable. We are not liable for any loss of data following deletion.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PulsedMC and its owners, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any:
- Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities
- Damages resulting from your inability to access or use the Service
- Damages resulting from unauthorised access to your data
Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the total fees paid by you in the 30 days immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitations of liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless PulsedMC and its owners, employees, and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to:
- Your use of the Service in violation of these Terms
- Your Content or any content hosted on your server
- Your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property rights
- Your violation of any applicable laws or regulations
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Before initiating any formal legal proceeding, you agree to first contact us via Discord and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.
Any disputes that cannot be resolved informally shall be subject to binding individual arbitration. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.
EU residents: Nothing in this clause affects your statutory rights under EU consumer protection law, including the right to bring a claim before the courts of your country of residence.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by posting a notice in our Discord server or by sending an email to the address associated with your account, at least 7 days before the changes take effect.
Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of the updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must cancel your subscription before the effective date.
